As i was travelling in a cabbie as usual chatting with the driver. Suddenly, he talks about end of the world regarding the drastic changes of climate, as he continued vocabulary terms like service, preaching, baptizing, god, etc were being used. Sounds pretty Christian aint it? But no.... he is into Buddah's teaching. That just reminds me of what Pastor D. sharings on Buddah's followers using exactly the same terms as Christians.

An unbelievable incident happened as i was coaching at a condo pool. A gust of strong wind blew a metal bench (for sunbathers) right into the pool... i witnessed it with my own eyes. Shocking but true. How often can that happen in Sg?! I better becareful of coconuts dropping from the trees next time when the wind comes again.. The swim kids were surprised too and happy about it, the next moment it became their trampoline. Little monkeys jumping on it.

Another incident happened at the pool with an ambulance involved. Well, this time round, its another pool. A man was swimming with his eyes shut and collided into the wall at fast speed. The next moment.... he has a wide cut on his head. Hmm.... from what the lifeguard told me, i was imagination a watermelon being hit on the wall. At least his brain wasn't oozing out. (:

Its been over a month since my last drove. Praying that i'll be able to recall the techniques and get a good instructor! Amazing... God has already planned it out. As i walked towards the destinated car with excitement and it appears to be.... that 80's style hippie instructor. The one whom uses a satay stick as his pda pointer. im beginning to feel really comfy on the driver's seat, felt like on a wheelchair.

Recently, i have 2 new christian swim kids, Issac (6yr) and Tammy (7yr). Adorable! Though its was Issac's first lesson in the group but he managed to get along very well with the group and likes telling me stuffs. Tammy is super adorable as well, her bangs are cute and her mommy is amiable.

also another 3 new kids. John,Julia and Claire! John loves everything that has sharks on it. Infact, his shirt, swim cap and goggles have the sharks printing on it! Julia's kinda timid. Claire is tiny (as compared to the rest) but she can swim well among the three. Besides that im teaching two schools swimming! The funniest response that i could remember was.... a conversation with one of the school girl.

me: girls, anyone in this group can't swim?
one girl replied: i can swim but i forgot the strokes
me: so that means you can't swim
same girl: i can! but i just forgot the strokes
me: (pondering in my head.... its either you can or can't ??! )
me: if you forgot the strokes, means you can't swim

then sent her to the beginners' group after watching her swim 20m. just 3 words- Cannot make it. Better for her to learn then to suffer and struggle in the deep pool. :)

I've been waiting to get my hands on that special tasting egg tarts since monday!

I found out that strawberries can be imported from Egypt. Never had this occured in my life that, my apple dropped onto the bus deck upon jerking and rolled forward with the bus momentum to someone's feet.... oh man!

Running on a treadmill with a soccer match allows me to imagine im a soccer player! That makes running a longer distance enjoyable as i run a little 'closer' (virtually) for the ball. (:

spotted equipments in a new pool from afar, being curious i bend over and examined carefully... its water treadmills! this is super duper cool.. I wonder how's the feeling running on them. Thats something new -excited-

5 new students today! Everything went smoothly until.... one of the current student decided to challenge herself by swimming towards the deep side, though i was beside her every step of the way, she trembles everytime upon inhaling air. At one point, she sank and i tried rescuing... i succeed but the second time with the weight of my wetsuit on and hers on my arm, i was struggling to push her towards the edge. Almost couldn't made it till a fellow coach helped. -heave a relief-

Im thinking of doing hair braidings!! (: with pink beads at the end of the braids. My only worry would be... itchying from unable to cleanse scalp properly.

it was cool hanging out at a Uncle Chia's (wetsuit tailor) workshop. Learning and listening how he teaches his disciple. Being curious, i asked questions too! -grin-

Cafe Cartel's Pork Rip is absolutely delicious. Its worth eating it even though its after a workout.

a brand new fresh blog for 2009!

I joined a group of sports enthusiastic in their mini Triathlon event today but i did a Biathlon cause i didn't have a racing bicycle. 40 laps of swim and 9.6km run. The journey seems tough but i made it and i even got to know new friends that keeps on cheering for each other too! (:

Im troubled by friend's stuffs yesterday and today family stuffs.

Intrigued by how my sister defiant cause one of my mom's whole finger nail to come out. ( i prayed for her) I can't imagine if its my nail. I think the pressure is arising within me, im trying to keep cool as how i always feel. I know i can't handle it alone i need God's help.

I believe in miracles.

A reason for everything.
